happy new year everyone still trying to get the hang of this blog thing so be patient.
we're starting the year with a managment cttee meeting and projects cttee that will start the job of planning the new year.
one of the things we'd like to do is have a review amongst the people who know us of where we should be goign as a drama group...any polite comments welcome.
we'd also like to use the web to keep people up-to date with things that are happening amongst other groups so if you have anything you want to put on, email it in.
finally we'd like maybe to use it to publsih dbates about drama especially community drama or even people's work????
things coming up of interest might be our slice of life writing competition...we ask people to submit 30-40minute scripts and then we produce them. our community group will also be starting up soon and our youth group "perform L8" has laready started...any young people you know who might be interested put them in touch with us....the group meets every week at the kuumba imani centre
Just a test post to wish you all a happy new year 09 and to say thanks to the organisers and participants in our xmas 08 meet. I hoped you enjoyed it as much as I did, lets see 2009 bring a lot more success from this talented and open group through 2009 and beyond.
