sessional and project posts going for dingle community theatre's summer Dramatic connections in the dingle festival


From time to time if we get funding for our projects, we advertise for sessinal workers or facilitators to help us. uusually it's to work with Junior Schools, or the Youth Group, but sometimes we like to invite guests to work with the community (adult). Thanks to Liverpool City Council, we've got some funding for our Summer 09 project, "Dramatic Conncetions in the Dingle" Have a look and apply if you fancy the work. Job Description/Duties (May 09 to July 09).

The successful applicant will be expected to initiate and develop a short 30 minute approx. ensemble, inclusive production with our established Community Adult Group, for performance at our Summer Drama festival in July. Dingle Community Theatre Community Drama group meets every Monday evening at the Casa on Hope Street. The group is a good mix of experienced actors and new recruits and the facilitator will have support form the group and DCT as an organization. The theme of this year’s festival is the Environment, to tie in with general City Council projects for their themed year.We are looking for applicants with the following:* a desire to take part in the running of community Drama events* Some basic project management skills or aptitude* Commitment to and awareness of the importance of Diversity and equal opportunities in modern organisations.

This is an ideal post for someone to gain experience, so don’t be put off from applying if you don’t have any. We are after commitment and ideas.

Post2Lead Facilitator – Junior School Drama Presentation Summer 09 …Part of Dingle Community Theatre’s Dramatic Connections in the Dingle Project

Payment: £300 Deadline: Friday 24th April 09

As part of our Summer 09 event, we will be working with a junior school to produce a short dramatic piece about the environmentJob Description/DutiesThe successful applicants will be expected to:• Laise with a Toxteth Junior school to produce the piece.• Work with a group of children from the school to create a short (15 minute approx.) piece of drama of a presentational nature• Work under the overall management of the Group’s Trustees and General Co-ordinatorWe are looking for applicants with the following:• Experience at organising children’s drama events.

The successful applicant must have a current CRB check
